The mission of the Arctic Children and Youth Foundation is “to work at all levels to assist Arctic children and youth to attain standards of living, education, opportunities and health and well-being equal to those of other Canadians.”
Message From Susan
Welcome to the Arctic Children and Youth Foundation – Canada’s only national charitable organization that strives to champion Arctic children and youth. As chairperson of ACYF, I hope you will take some time to browse through our web-site, learn about our goals, and come to understand the realities children face growing up in the Canadian Arctic.
Through our members and Directors, ACYF provides informed advice for effective engagement of northern interests at all levels of national and international child policy development and implementation. Through research data, ACYF assists in identifying gaps and priority areas. Through partnership, ACYF can develop, initiate and manage programs appropriate to our dynamic culture and geography.
And finally, through this web-site, donations are accepted and partnerships can be developed to help build a stronger future for our Arctic children and youth, and for a stronger Canada.
