- 250 youth engaged
- 10 youth trained and employed as facilitators/moderators
- Implementation plan for preliminary solution(s) to social issues affecting Inuit youth
- Reports and recommendations aimed at government and stakeholders responsible for Arctic social and economic policy development
2014:
- Needs Assessment completed for Child Advocacy Centre
- Launched an electronic forum to encourage youth discussion. “Playing to Strength” is a moderated, arctic-wide forum that engages and identifies and brainstorms solutions for significant issues that face youth.
2011-12:
Created a culturally-specific information package in 4 of Nunavut’s official languages about asthma. Asthma rates are high in children aged 1-4 in Nunavut. This resource is used to educate children and parents about healthy asthma management. Links to your copy can be found here:
